Substitute Christophe Jallet sealed the win in the 90th with a volley beneath the crossbar following a free kick by Brazilian midfielder Nene.“The difference was in the effectiveness in front of goal,” Lyon coach Remi Garde told a news conference. “We had opportunities to rally. Also in the first half, we could have opened the scoring with better finishing.”
PSG displayed all of its fire power, forcing Lloris into a series of saves. The France keeper used his leg to block an angled shot from winger Jeremy Menez in the 21st minute and punched a swerving, long-range drive by defender Diego Lugano over the bar in the 43rd.
