12BET France League Update 11/8

Sochaux's highly rated Algeria midfielder Ryad Boudebouz, a reported transfer target for Liverpool, Marseille and Lyon, has said he could move to Paris Saint-Germain, who are looking to recruit a player of North African origin.

Boudebouz was a key element in Sochaux's surprise fifth-placed finish last season, and as he continues his rise to prominence with strong performances in season 2011-12, the Algerian international, currently his club's joint top scorer with four goals (three assists) is still to attract the attention of big clubs.

PSG reaching out
With Paris Saint-Germain's new Qatari owners looking to connect with the various demographics in the Paris region, the capital club is reportedly on the hunt for a player of North African origin - Udinese's Moroccan international Mehdi Benati and compatriot Marouane Chamakh of Arsenal are also being followed - Boudebouz could soon be the subject of an offer from the big-spending Parisians.
"PSG? Why not?" said the mercurial wide man who is widely tipped for a move away from the Stade Bonal at the end of the season. "It's a huge club. I'd love to follow in the footsteps of Mustapha Dahleb [a fellow Algerian who scored 85 goals for PSG from 1974 to 1984]."

Going nowhere this winter
After being courted by Liverpool and Fiorentina in the off-season, the 21-year-old has become a winter transfer target for Lyon, who are looking for some attacking impact on the flanks. However, Boudebouz was less enthusiastic about a mid-season move.
"Look, I cannot confirm that Liverpool was interested in me last summer, but now I think that we are still far from the winter transfer window," said Boudebouz when quizzed about Lyon's interest earlier this season. "I am at Sochaux where I intend to have a great season. After that, if the president decides to grant me a release, we’ll see."- by http://www.ligue1.com
