Lille youngster Gianni Bruno has signed a contract extension that will keep him with the reigning Ligue 1 champions until the summer of 2015.
The 20-year-old striker has been on the books at Stade Lille-Metropole since he was 15 years old, with the club having helped him to fulfil his potential. He is yet to be offered a regular first team role, but he has made a handful of senior appearances this season and netted during an important Coupe de France clash with Compiegne. Lille consider him to be a hot prospect for the future and have moved quickly to retain his services. Bruno was only too happy to put pen to paper, with the Belgium U21 international settled in his current surroundings.
"This is good news for me and for my family," he told the club's official website"To evolve with the first team is what I have been looking to do since I was 15 years old. It's like a dream come true. "In training, I always give my all with the aim of proving my worth in the group. "I am aware that I have to work hard of I am going to play and I am delighted to have extended my contract."
